At the Insurance Corporation of BC, as a Marketing Communications Specialist, Ry served as Information Architect, Editor and Copywriter for the development of a major corporate sub-site, "What if I'm injured?" Many bodily injury adjusters and iCBC professionals from throughout the corporation participated in the project, helping to bring wide and varied perspectives to a challenging communications effort.
Smaller clients
Ry has developed a number of sites for smaller clients. At the present time, he’s specializing in fast, affordable and template-driven websites for small-to mid-sized businesses and professionals like architects, accountants, financial planners, lawyers and engineers.
Given Ry’s earlier background as a writer, editor and photographer on various newspapers, morphing into web production has been fairly painless. Ry has worked in a variety of capacities on several websites, sometimes as a project manager, sometimes working for others as a copywriter only, sometimes as an editor. His favorite projects, though, are those with clients who have passion for communicating their vision and the wisdom to understand the importance of good design in achieving that vision. For such clients “sizzle” comes with the territory.
